We’re offering this class on a sliding scale to make it accessible to a wider audience. Three pricing tiers are available. Choose the tier that is affordable for you—every choice helps make this community more inclusive!
 

Ages: 17+

Description: 

This class introduces ideas pulled from the book Mapping: The Intelligence of Artistic Work by Anne West about (1) exploring, (2) charting, and (3) communicating to map out thoughts about your artwork to enable you to write exceptional artist statements, grant applications, website content, or other needed writing. Exploring will dive into what makes your work your work. Charting will allow you to create a visual map showing and discovering connections. Communicating will introduce writing techniques.

Materials will be provided, and you may also bring any writing you would like to review, images of your artwork, small  artwork, or objects that inspire your work.

REFUND POLICY

Classes/Workshops: Redux Contemporary Art Center may cancel any class with insufficient enrollment; students will be notified and given a full refund. If a student withdraws at least 48 hours before the class begins, they will be refunded their tuition minus an administrative fee. If a student withdraws within 48 hours before the class begins, no refunds will be given. Students are not enrolled until complete payment is received. Redux will not pro-rate or offer make-up days for student absences.
