Would you love to be able to draw a convincing human figure from imagination?
 
Drawing any real-life thing convincingly involves the ability to think in the third dimension.  While learning the names of bones and muscles is helpful, it can be a paining task.  For the artist, there is a wonderful and handy shortcut for drawing a person in any position straight out of your imagination!  With the use of homework projects, handouts, and live models, we will be learning to break the human body down into masses of three-dimensional form that are easy to memorize and repeat. 
 
Seasoned figure instructor, Stephen Cefalo presents life drawing classes that are laid back, conversational, friendly, and densely informative.

***Students will need to provide their own drawing materials, Redux will supply easels and drawing boards***

Supply List

Variety of pencils, light to dark (9H are the lightest available and 9B are the darkest available)
-18x24” drawing pad (no newsprint). 
-Kneaded eraser (the blue/gray kind that is like silly putty). 
-Sharpener

REFUND POLICY

Classes/Workshops and Camps: Redux Contemporary Art Center may cancel any class with insufficient enrollment; students will be notified and given a full refund. If a student withdraws at least 48 hours before the class begins, they will be refunded their tuition minus an administrative fee. If a student withdraws within 48 hours before the class begins, no refunds will be given. Students are not enrolled until complete payment is received. Redux will not pro-rate or offer make-up days for student absences.
