Join local artist, Carson Carroll, in this 2 1/2 -hour beginner-friendly cyanotype workshop. We will learn the basics of the cyanotype process, an alternative photographic process that uses UV light to create imagery. We will discuss the history of this technique, and then play with natural objects, stencils, fibers, and a variety of other found objects to create an image on paper with only the sun. You will go home with multiple prints to use as works of art, collage material, cards, etc. All materials are provided, but you are more than welcome to bring leaves and flowers of your own garden or other thin flat materials to use for your prints.

***This workshop depends on the appearance of the sun, so full refunds will be given if the class needs to be canceled or rescheduled due to rain.
