Description:
Choose your tools and your path. If you enjoy working by hand, you'll use pencils, rulers, calligraphy pens, and compasses to sketch and refine your letterforms. If you're more comfortable working digitally, bring your tablet and stylus to create your designs in Procreate or Adobe Fresco. You’re welcome to explore both methods during the class or focus on just one.
This workshop is perfect for beginners, artists, illustrators, and anyone curious about typography. You'll leave with a solid foundation in how fonts are built and tips for continuing your type design practice at home.
Materials:
Analog — Pencils, rulers, erasers, calligraphy pens, compasses
Digital — Tablet with stylus, Procreate or Adobe Fresco (please bring your own device and apps installed)

REFUND POLICY
Classes/Workshops and Camps: Redux Contemporary Art Center may cancel any class with insufficient enrollment; students will be notified and given a full refund. If a student withdraws at least 48 hours before the class begins, they will be refunded their tuition minus an administrative fee. If a student withdraws within 48 hours before the class begins, no refunds will be given. Students are not enrolled until complete payment is received. Redux will not pro-rate or offer make-up days for student absences.
