Age: 10+

Skill Level: Beginner Friendly

Create your own holiday cards with pressed floral and foliage in this cozy workshop. In the first half, you'll get a hands-on-approach to the ins-and-outs of preserving + pressing (so you can do it at home, too) flowers, herbs, and leaves. The second half, you'll put everything you learned into practice by designing your own pressed holiday floral cards to give to family and friends. A great way to find some calm during the holidays and make some art, too!

You'll learn:

• A historical and modern take on pressing florals

• The ideal types of flowers, herbs, and leaves to press and preserve

• Best practices to maintain a plant's color and form (no moldy flowers!)

• How to turn your pressed flowers into pieces of art

• A new creative skill to use beyond the holidays
