Description:
Join studio resident Erica Brooks for a four-session plein air painting course in partnership with Redux Contemporary Art Center. Designed for artists of all experience levels, this class invites participants to paint outdoors while exploring observation, composition, color, and light in the beautiful setting of Hampton Park.
Over the course of four sessions, students will develop their plein air painting practice through guided instruction, demonstrations, and individual feedback while working directly from the landscape. Students can either use acrylic or oil in this class.
Acrylic Paint - Water-based, Water Clean-Up, Fast-Drying, Easy Layering
Oil Paint - Oil-Based, Slow-Drying, Easy Blending

Materials are not provided for this class. Participants are responsible for bringing their own supplies. If you need assistance gathering materials or have any questions before the class begins, please contact [email protected]. The materials list is below, but we will also send you a copy when you sign up for the class.

REFUND POLICY
Classes/Workshops: Redux Contemporary Art Center may cancel any class with insufficient enrollment; students will be notified and given a full refund. If a student withdraws at least 48 hours before the class begins, they will be refunded their tuition minus an administrative fee. If a student withdraws within 48 hours before the class begins, no refunds will be given. Students are not enrolled until complete payment is received. Redux will not pro-rate or offer make-up days for student absences.
