Description:

Join milliner & sewist Julia Pagán, in a three part course on creating a fascinator. A fascinator or percher, is a smaller ornamental headpiece, a hat alternative attached by a comb, elastic, hair clip, or headband. Using fabric, lace, feathers, crinoline, veiling, glue, thread and notions both vintage & new, to create a unique statement piece. Bring any fabric, notions & embellishments that you want to add.
 
Materials provided- fascinator base, headbands, elastics, combs, clips, notions (ribbon, fabric, veiling, crinoline, buttons, vintage findings) glue, steamer, iron, hand-sewing materials.
 
Skills needed- A vision for what you’d like to create with inspiration photos (if possible).

REFUND POLICY

Classes/Workshops and Camps: Redux Contemporary Art Center may cancel any class with insufficient enrollment; students will be notified and given a full refund. If a student withdraws at least 48 hours before the class begins, they will be refunded their tuition minus an administrative fee. If a student withdraws within 48 hours before the class begins, no refunds will be given. Students are not enrolled until complete payment is received. Redux will not pro-rate or offer make-up days for student absences.
