Step into the magical world of photography—no fancy cameras required! In this hands-on camp designed for curious creators ages 12–15, we'll explore the roots of photography through playful, experimental techniques. Campers will build their own pinhole cameras, step inside a life-sized camera obscura, and create one-of-a-kind prints using the power of sunlight with cyanotypes and photograms. We'll get our hands messy with inventive materials and discover how photography works from the inside out—blending science, art, and a little bit of magic. By the end of the week, students will have a collection of original works and a deeper understanding of how to capture the world without ever picking up a digital device. Perfect for anyone who loves making things, experimenting, and seeing the world in a whole new way!

REFUND POLICY
Summer Camps: Redux Contemporary Art Center may cancel any camp with insufficient enrollment; students will be notified and given a full refund. If a student withdraws at least 72 hours before the camp begins, they will be refunded their tuition minus an administrative fee. If a student withdraws within 72 hours before the ccamp begins, no refunds will be given. Students are not enrolled until complete payment is received. Redux will not pro-rate or offer make-up days for student absences.
