Description:
Sculpt. Construct. Invent. In this session of Mini Makers Studio, older campers will take a deeper dive into sculpture, exploring how materials, form, and structure work together to create meaning and visual impact. We’ll experiment with clay, cardboard, wire, wood, and found materials to build both representational and abstract 3D works.
Campers will be encouraged to think like designers, engineers, and artists as they create original sculptures. Learning through hands-on experimentation, reflection, and collaboration. We’ll also discuss the work of contemporary sculptors and installation artists for inspiration.
Outdoor breaks and occasional visits to nearby Hampton Park (with a signed waiver) give campers a chance to reset and refuel throughout the day.
What to bring:

Clothes that can get a little messy (we’ll be sculpting, gluing, exploring!)
Important note: A waiver will be required to allow us to visit Hampton Park for fresh‑air breaks and inspiration outdoors.

REFUND POLICY
Summer Camps: Redux Contemporary Art Center may cancel any camp with insufficient enrollment; students will be notified and given a full refund. If a student withdraws at least 72 hours before the camp begins, they will be refunded their tuition minus an administrative fee. If a student withdraws within 72 hours before the camp begins, no refunds will be given. Students are not enrolled until complete payment is received. Redux will not pro-rate or offer make-up days for student absences.
